It is going to be hard to top this past years meet. But we are certainly going to try next year in Gettysburg. As you know, we are teaming up with the Delorean club to put on a Gullwing super event. As of this writing the Delorean club has sold out 265 rooms at their host hotel. They expect to sell out all 305 rooms at the Eisenhower hotel and overflow into our hotel the Gettysburg Wyndam. They expect over 200 Deloreans during this event! The Bricklin International host hotel will be at the Gettysburg Wyndham. Our block of rooms begins on June 11th and goes through Sunday June 15th. 2008. The room rate is $120.00 per night. I might add that Steve Stratton and I worked very hard at getting this hotel at this rate. This is the beginning of tourist season in Gettysburg and the hotel will sell out. I might add that the other hotels in this area are not very nice (They are awful) and are just as expensive. This is a new hotel and is in the center of the action. So call the Wyndham and ask for the Bricklin International Owner group rate. Book early because once our block of rooms is gone it is gone! I anticipate between 40 to 50 Bricklins at this event so plan early and make sure you bring your car. I am going to bring two Bricklins and I am not alone at bringing multiple cars!
Just to give you a quick rundown on events; we have a driving competition on Thursday afternoon with the Deloreans in the Eisenhower parking lot. Thursday dinner will be at the Eisenhower. There will be a Gullwing mixer with a full Buffet and a Steel drum band in the Eisenhower holidome. The details for Friday have not been established but we will spend it around the Gettysburg area. Driving around with 200 Deloreans will be very cool. Saturday is the big show with approximately 250 gullwing cars. There will be Bricklin and Delorean vendors selling parts, celebrities signing autographs (Most likely from the back of the future movie) and the traveling Delorean museum. Saturday night we will have our dinner with our cars in the conference center! Very cool. Make plans now and dont miss this event. I am going to get down there early and just drive around. I cant wait! More information as it comes available. Our meet Director Steve Straton will post more specific information soon. I just wanted to get the info out to everyone.

Dear Bricklin enthusiast;
This meet will be unique as we are joining forces with the Delorean Car Show to host what will probably go down in history as a super meet! The tentative schedule for the meet is listed below along with the registration form. More detailed information will be provided as we get closer to the event. Get ready for an exciting meet and let us know if you have any questions! Please mail in the registration form so that we know that you are coming! Dont forget to reserve your room at the hotel!

This will be an excellent show. I got my room through DCS - now the question is, will I drive my D from Chicago? I'm leaning to yes....

Yesterday we hit our room total! We sold all 40 rooms out and it is only December. We just were authorized their 15 remaining rooms. So if you don't have a room yet there is still a chance to stay at the host hotel. Remember, you can always cancel. I also spoke the the Delorean group. They have now sold 291 out of the 305 Rooms. They also have 15 spill over rooms at our hotel!
Mr. Wajda,
I am forwarding the rooming list so you can see who has picked up. Right now I talley about:
6/9 - 2
6/10 - 3
6/11 - 27
6/12 - 40
6/13 - 40
6/14 - 40
I am glad that Central Reservations booked a few more than we had blocked. Do you think I should increase the block by 15 on all nights? I will submit for approval at this rate if you do.
Thank you.
