This site is funded by the Bricklin International Owners Club and certain additional privileges may be afforded to Members in good standing. This includes but is not limited to access to the 'Parts Database' application, certain areas on the Forum and permission to post to the 'Classifieds' page. Under no circumstances should 'Wanted' or 'For Sale' items be posted outside of the 'Classifieds' area in the BI Forum.

In order to use these forums, users are required to provide a username, password and e-mail address. If you are a Bricklin International Owners Club Member (or may choose to support the club in the future) be sure to choose a username without spaces or special characters in it. It's also important to use the same e-mail address that you send to our Membership Director (or to our Historian / VIN Registry for those that choose to just register your VIN). We compare the e-mail address in our Member and VIN database to the one you enter here to associate your account with your Member rights and / or VIN information.

When you register, you are creating a logon to the Forum. We've got a lot of 'Forum Spammers' using automated tools to get accounts on our Forum. To prevent them from getting an account, the Forum Administrator looks at each and every registration attempt. If the registration attempt looks like a spammer it immediately gets deleted. Be sure to fill out enough information so the Forum Administrator can feel comfortable you aren't an automated program attempting access! It helps if you are already in our Member or VIN database and give enough information to verify your name and e-mail address.

What this also means to you is that there will be an initial delay when you register before getting the 'Activation' e-mail. (The Activation e-mail verifies that you used a valid, working e-mail address.) Typically, the Forum Administrator checks our system one or more times per day so you should expect to get the 'Activation' e-mail within 24 hours. If you don't get it within 48 hours, please contact the Forum Administrator. Watch your e-mail. The Forum Administrator typically deletes the attempt if it sits for a week without being activated.

Without doubt, the biggest problem folks have is getting the activation e-mail and / or getting activated. PLEASE, do yourself a favor and take a moment to read the Forum Activation Help BEFORE proceeding.
