Hi This is Ken from the DeLorean Car Show Gettysburg. And before I get started Jim can confirm that Although I don't own a Bricklin I have a Bricklin in my warehouse that I will probably own by the end of the year. Its White with the Ford Engine and Jim said its one of the last ones made. Needs work but don't they all when they sit for a while. Anyway back to Gettysburg. First of all I would like to welcome all of you that are planning on coming to the show and from what I see your response has been overwhelming. Many of you met me in Cleveland when I came to one of your events and spoke to you about doing joint shows. All of my shows but one have had Bricklins at them so having Bricklins is not new. But one thing about this show is that instead of being just a few of you this time you will be there in force for the largest gathering of Gullwing cars in the world. ] We have structured the event to allow us plenty of time to do things together but also allow the groups to have time to attend to business that they need. Thursday is a great mix as we will all do things together and its the Bricklin group that will run the obstacle course in the back parking lot. Our DMA group will help set up the cars for photos and the Arizona group will help with DeLorean registration and helping out with the dinners. We will all enjoy the Trinidad Steel Drum Band. Friday the groups will mingle in the tours and then we go into our own seperate dinners for business to be attended. Saturday we will be together all day and at night the DeLorean Group will go back to the hotel while you stay and have dinner at the convention center. Pretty full agenda. Again this is a full joint effort and I thank Jim for his help in coordinating the event. As I tell the DeLorean members this is your event and its up to you to make it a success so the same applies to the Bricklin event this is your event. Jim and I are there to facilitate and make your time enjoyable. This is a long time coming and I hope you enjoy all the effort being put in this event for both groups.
See you in Gettysburg

Ken is absolutely right!!! This event is a truly joint event!!!!! The largest gathering of Gullwing cars ever assembeled. Currently, we are at 55 rooms on Friday and Saturday with 14 weeks to go. The hotel stated that we have 7 empty rooms left. Not bad and we will surely sell out. The Delorean club hit 300 rooms so they will be sold out in the next very soon! |

Is there going to be any kind of seminars on things like; windows, doors, body panels, interior upgrades, suspension upgrades, etc? Being a newbe who do I go to with questions without being a pest? Does Terry usually come to these things as a vender? What kind of parts can I look forward to finding? |
