During a trip to my local auto parts emporium I picked up two new radiator overflow bottles with mounting brackets, these are identical to the ones on bricklins. They just have plastic caps instead of our metal ones. I figured they would make good donations to the raffle/door prize awards at the meet.. |

I'm flying into Baltimore BWI Wednesday evening and leaving Sunday around lunch. Any one with similar plans please contact me. I don't want to spend $300+ to rent a car that's going to sit parked most of the time before exploring other options.

What's the chances of someone taking photo's of the cars at the meet and updating the members photo register. There is not that many cars on there and this would be a great opportunity to add some. Mines not on there because my ten year old has not gotten to it yet. |

Hey , I just figured out that we have our meet on fathers day. Gonna have to bail since family is more important than the car. Not a good idea to put the meet on the same weekend. |

Yup, one of the reasons I had to bail as well, I have a previous commitment on the Saturday and Sunday is for my dad, Don't know how many more "special" days I'll have with him. |
your mileage may vary, parental guidance is advised, call before you dig, consult your doctor, action figures sold separately, see a qualified tax professional, mind the gap, may contain peanuts, no user serviceable parts inside, offer void in Nebraska, batteries not included |

It was the Delorean owners idea. I actually like the day. No matter what day we pick there is always a conflict with someone. My family is important but it is fathers day and I should be able to do what I want on that day of all days!!!! As for my Dad; I can take him out for dinner the next week. I hate going out on Fathers Day. Actually, I should have taken dear old dad to the meet but it is too far. |

Thought I would visit the Delorean Car Show site and see what mention of the Bricklin's were there. I could only find one small paragraph that mentioned it. Seems a little strange since I feel our site is giving more than adequate mention of the Delorean's. I hope the joint meet will give our car more exposure and show the Delorean owners part of their history with the Bricklin.
Let's keep the event positive. There are a lot of negative comments from Delorean owners/fans about the Bricklin. I am not sure why since I have always liked both cars and all their similarities in their history. In a lot of cases swapping the name of Delorean and Bricklin you would think you were talking about the same car. Financed by foreign governments, safety car, gull wing doors, new car companies, innovative design, etc.
I wish I could be there. This will be my first meet that I had missed in four years of being a Bricklin owner. Just have to many conflicts with this date this year. Just one of those things that cannot be avoided. I never know my schedule a week in advance so shooting for a date over a year is tough. Just canceled my reservation that I had since the end of last years meet yesterday. Hoping to use the money I am not spending there on the car. Getting it closer to being where I think it is completed, but always something to do.
I normally create online slide shows for our event and post them on youtube or Photoshow. I would like for someone else to do this if possible. If you cannot you can send me photos or videos and I will post them for you. The Bricklin and Delorean history continues and the images of this show will show great examples of both cars.
Hope it is a great meet. I will mark my calender for next year.
