I think you would have to slip "down" to Milford from Frankenmuth. Last time that I talked to Bob Hoffman he stated he will be at the meet and he is staying at the hotel with the rest of us so I assume he wont be at the shop.
I know Bob will be at the show. But you might want to call him for a private tour on Wednesday. He will probably be hard at work at the shop. I know a number of owners have sent their car to him for work before the meet. I know he is very busy.
I live in Delaware with a sister in VA so getting to Terry's wasn't too bad, and the experience was well worth it. I just thought to be this close to another shop was a great oppertunity. When Terry had "parts that will work" Bob had the exact part I needed and was always willing to help me on the phone. Just like to support those who keep us going. Would have been a great destination on a poker run. (Except Bob would still be working instead of enjoying the meet!)
Talked to Bob a couple of days ago, mentioned this thread. He said he had parts to deliver on probably Thurday and Friday from the shop to people at the meet. He said if enough wanted to go to his shop one of the afternoons, it might be arranged.......
I just want to say i was blown away today. Last i checked we had 32 rooms on Friday night. Well as of today we have 43 rooms. This is many more than i expected. So This is going to be a big meet. If you are on the fence join us but expect a GREATT meet!
OMG!!! Just checked the hotel and our final number is 45 Hotel rooms for Saturday night!!! Wow that is really big for us so get ready. Let's get ready for a GREAT MEET!!!
Any caravans from Tennessee to Michigan heading to the meet. Trying to plan out when to leave and arrive. It would be nice to have some company on the road. Still trying to get the car ready for the long drive.
