Great plates Thane...bomb up to Ottawa next year and we'll show 4 Bricks in a row...perhaps even get the BBoyz to bring a couple out!
2163 and 1548 motoring around this fine city this summer has a lot of people talking about Bricklins...just too bad they have to go nighty night until next Spring...

Marty, I would definitely look forward to a trip up to your neck of the woods for some Bricklin fun. My wife and I have friends and relatives in the Ottawa area so a combined trip is in order.
My wife's brother in Nepean has a really nice BMW Z3 coupe that he promised to give me the keys to take it for a drive.

Hi Thane - Some of the guys have been asking abut mirror types for upgrading cars that are not all original - the flag style on this Z3 looks promising. I look forward to meeting you as well. The more Bricklin enthusiasts in Ontario the better.

gee, I could pop out for a coffee and meet you guys in Ottawa. That kind of stuff happens when I drive my Brick. I just tell my wife I'll be back in a while. From cottage to Ottawa is only 350 km's (approx 220 miles for our southern neighbors). That is only about 3 hours. :) |

Sounds like we have the makings of an Ontario and environs Bricklin meet! We should start tossing around dates!
This would work for me as I will not be attending the Hamptons. |

Or, we could do a weekend meet in Kingston if that works better. "O) Ottawa would be nice for sure, and we could trail the whole crew over the Bricklin Boyz - we'd need to warn them first. <grin>
What do you think Marty?

Marty/Dave, Sounds like you may have started plans for an exciting weekend in Eastern Ontario. We should definitely plan something....Thane, Gerry and who knows else. There's a great place near Picton called Lake on the Mountain, just off the 401. They have neat little cottages to rent, great food and the driving through Prince Edward County would be incredible. The wives would love this spot, done it a few times with motorcycle groups.

Sounds like the makings of a great event...Gerry, would be great. That makes Thane, Gerry, Steve, Dave and I + I am sure the BBoyz would come out + we might just get some upstate friends to come over to the Great White North.
Just the shot of our three Bricks this summer at a meet caused a stir!
Kingston would also be a hoot...let's move this string to the members forum and see where we go from here. Maybe even a pre-meet before heading down to the Hamptons for the big meet?

I've started this topic to continue the discussion started here:

I vote for an early August date. I am competing in the Iron Butt Rally in late August, a motorcycle event over 11 days that is starting in late August. I am on vacation and will be unavailable in July.
The place brought up by Steve near Picton called Lake on the Mountain sounds interesting. Any ideas on place or time? |
