Saturday, June 6, 2009. Thurmont, MD. Sponsored by Mid-Atlantic Packards, Chesapeake Bay Hudson-Essex-Terraplane Club, Potomac Studebaker Drivers, Potomac Ramblers, and the DeSoto Owners. It's a rain or shine event. They do an untimed road rally looking for clues with several stops for about 60 miles. This year there will be a second run on Sunday also. Just got my drive line back in tonight so I'm hoping to be back on the road by Monday night This looks like a realy neat trip so I'm going to try and represent BI! For more info go to http://www.orphancartour.org Maybe see some of you there? (Got to have a "pre run" before New York)

Did my test drive today! Runs good, stops good, sounds good, but pin holes in radiator. Well I've got over a week to fix that, get the passenger seat back in, and replace the drivers side window. Plenty of time! Hope to see you there.

terraplane and ford are super rare in that year/body style...must have been a real treat to see them, but i'm not sure how ford is considered an orphan. maybe gm cars could appear as a "near death" marque.

it's been said the bricklin must be a pretty big car to take the whole province for a ride. i suppose the 'vette has to be even bigger if it's going to take all the us taxpayers for a ride.

didn't malcolm slam gm for needing govt handouts? think about that...
