I am now the proud owner of 2411. Safety Orange. Spent its life in central Texas. No rust whatsoever, but the acrylic is faded to the color of cantaloupe. Not unpleasant. The headlights didn't work, but I got them fixed. I had one clogged front brake line that had the car pulling violently to the right, which is now fixed. Now for the doors...
** Webmaster ** Congratulations!

Turns out VIN #371 had undisclosed structural damage : (
So when life hands you lemons, you make lemonade. Visited with Joe De Lorenzo at Autosport and I got a MINT 1975 Safety Red, original, no paint VIN #846!!
** Webmaster ** Thanks for the information. We'll record it in our VIN information.

I purchased VIN 2384 about 18 months ago and brought it "home" to Saint John, N.B. I would appreciate any information you may have on the history of this vehicle.
I saw the new musical theatre production of "The Bricklin" last night in Fredericton, N.B., I would highly recommend it to anyone who can make it.
** Webmaster ** I'm sorry to tell you that we have no information on that VIN. I don't believe you have submitted your information for our records yet, either. Would you please do so?
We'd also love to have you participate in our Forum; whether as a supporting member of the Bricklin International Owner Club or as our guest. (This site is supported by club dues. No ads!)
The unfortunate truth is that not all owners know to contact our organization and register with the club. It is helpful if owners selling their VINs would ask the new owner to contact us; most don't think to do so.
For those of you reading this, if you are a Bricklin owner (or ever have been for that matter), would you please take a moment to contact VINRegistry@Bricklin.org and provide as much of the following information as you are comfortable with? We'd love for you to update us periodically on the status of the car, too. Just sending us the mileage yearly and letting us know it is still a viable car would be great. Yes - even if you tell us that the car is still in storage and hasn't moved! We especially have a hard time getting information that a car has been junked, destroyed or parted out (and been taken out of the pool of viable cars).
Contact Information: Name, Address (at least City, State, Zip please), Phone, E-Mail Address
VIN Information: Vehicle Identification Number (Full preferred or last 4 digits), Production date (on VIN tag), when you purchased, from whom did you purchase, when you sold, to whom id you sell, mileage, general car condition or notes, special attributes of car (was owned by, was in movie 'xxx', was in museum for xx years, etc.)

I once owned Bricklin VIN# 2858. Would be nice to know what happened to it. Had good times, the most fun of any car I owned.
** Webmaster ** Thanks for visiting. The last owner of record we have in our database is you, so we don't know where the car is.
If you have information on the buyer you sold it to, please contact VINRegistry@Bricklin.org so we can update the database with that information. (When sold, who, what, where, how much, etc.; anything you can remember would be helpful.)

** Webmaster ** We have little information on that VIN other than it was once located in Washington (state).
Tracking the cars is a challenge as some folks don't know we are attempting to track owners over time. Whether you are a member or not, if you have information on a VIN you are willing to share, please contact BI at VINRegistry@Bricklin.org . We appreciate any information on ANY VIN. This includes VINs you might find in Junk Yards.

Just dropping a note to let you guys know there is a Bricklin on Craigslist, don't know if this car belongs to one of your members, or if it is accounted for in your list of cars. As a car enthusiast myself I understand the following and as a courtesy, I guess you could call it, I'll pass the info along.
This car does not belong to me nor do I know anything about, but I saw in the "where the heck are those cars" section I saw one listed as unknown location, so is this in Newcastle that unknown, or this car unknown to even exist except by SN.
** Webmaster ** Thanks for taking the time to let us know about this. I've reached out to the advertiser for the VIN number and we'll chase it down. ** Update ** VIN is 2910 and we have record of it. (Link removed.)

Does anyone have any info. on Bricklin VIN0612 Bolero
** Webmaster ** It was in CA until 12/06. We know it was sold, but the current owners have not registered with the club and we don't know where it is. Our 'Where are they now?' page is updated quarterly with information from our database. Keep checking there; you can use your browser's search function to find the 4-digit VIN. (0612 does not currently appear as we do not have current owner information. Information that is present is based on 'last known' and may not be current.)

** Webmaster ** Greets Derek and thanks for stopping by.
Derek, would you verify your VIN number and send contact information to The Bricklin VIN Registry please? The information we have on that VIN may not be correct / current. You'll find the Vehicle Identification Number on the bottom of the driver's door (when open, it's at eye level) or by looking at the dash through the windshield - driver's side where the dashboard and windshield meet.
Your question is typical for a new Bricklin Owner. How do I fix / maintain the car?
If you are a DIY'er (Do-It-Yourself) and want to learn more / connect to the Bricklin Community, you can join the Bricklin International Owners Club, get quarterly magazines and have access to some additional Member-only resources on our website. If you are interested in participating and supporting the club see our Membership Information page. Regardless of your Member status, you can register for the Forum (top of this page) and have access to a wealth of information and assistance from other owners.
Those Bricklin Owners that are not as handy can still find assistance. Most local repair shops can handle the bulk of the work on a Bricklin. For those issues your favorite shop cannot or will not address, we have several Bricklin specific vendors you can call on. See our links at Vendors / Parts Suppliers: Bricklin Parts Suppliers. Bob's Brickyard, Bricklin Parts and Services & Corvette Restoration AZ will all do Bricklin repairs. Given your stated location (California), your best bet would be Corvette Restoration AZ.

I just purchased VIN 528 off Ebay. Car was stored since 1977 and has 20,224 original miles. Color changed from Safety Red to Orange between 1974 and present. No title (of course), but once it arrives here in Ohio, a trip to the fiberglass shop to fix some glass issues, and back on the road for the first time since 1977! Looking forward to meeting other brick owners.
** Webmaster ** Congratulations on becoming a Bricklin Owner. I am close by and looking forward to seeing this car 'in person'.

love the site , I grew up in Saint John ,N.B. and remember seeing the truckloads of Bricklins heading through town on their way to the states . I still run across NOS parts at local swap meets . and know of a couple local original owners of Bricklins that still have their cars under wraps . I remember seeing a Blue one being driven locally when the plant was still operating . a local bodyshop owner told me that he painted it for Bricklin Canada as part of a prototype program early in 75 . that car looked awesome ( like Ford grabber blue ) I always wanted one as a kid and still do . I know of a guy who lugged stuff to the local dump for the bankruptcy trustees and watched truckload after truckload of parts being run over and buried by bulldozers . He owned a bricklin himself and was able to get a few parts and pieces . funny his downstairs bar has 6 Bricklin seats mounted all around it too
** Webmaster ** Wow. Great memories / stories. Thanks for taking the time to share!

I owned # 1444 when I lived in Chicago and sold it in 1978 to a man who worked with a food company ( Libby I think) I sold it to buy a house on the near north of Chicago. Often wondered where the car is and the history that it enjoyed.\
** Webmaster ** You'll find that VIN on our Where Are They Now? page.
I can tell you I personally saw that VIN in Cleveland in 2001. It was a truly impressive black Custom at that time. Here's a few pics of it:
