Hello Steve,
I wish I had been able to stay Friday and Saturday. From what I saw, you did a great job with the meet.
I hope the auction items I donated were of benefit to the club too.
Hopefully next year my wife decides not to break her other wrist during the Dayton meet.
Thanks again, Jim |

You can't post photos directly on this thread. You post photos elsewhere (I use Photbucket), then you post links to your photos here. |

I would like to thank BI and Steve Edgar for the opportunity to share the culmination of my efforts in discovering the real Bricklin story. Your true compassionate understanding that this was the process of a family healing after all these years later and how you embraced my parents will never be forgotten. My father especially has remarked how special the BI meet was to him. For me the very special occasion was when the there was no one around the cars my parents went over to spend some private time with them. I watched this from afar and did not ask them about this but you can imagine it was special for them. To be honest I was scared ****less, I had put myself out on the line like never before. The positive response to SV-1, The Bricklin Inquiry was beyond my expectations concerning the content and story line. The film's audio and eliminating some scrolling text will be fixed plus some added dialogue from Herb Grasse is going to be added. Two film distribution companies have shown an initial interest so I will be meeting with them over the next month. I think that I may have underestimated the power of the story that I told. Stay tuned and from the bottom of my heart thank you all for help. |

Andrew June and I had a chance to meet and talk with your mom and dad on Sunday morning. They were a pleasure to talk to and we were glad we had a chance to meet them. Thanks again for allowing us to see the "real bricklin story". Hope you and your parents can make some of the future meets. |

Andrew it was an absolute pleasure to have your excellent film at our Meet. I really enjoyed the time I spent with your Dad too. He has a sharp mind and an excellent sense of humour! |

andrew, i was expecting a real brutal trashing of bricklin, It was actually a very passionate story, a story I have heard before but this one was from a different perspective, that of a family directly involved, I think some of Herbs voice from my DVD will add some comic relief. I could tell you were worried what our reaction would be, but it was well received by those that watched, It held my interest throughout. I talked with your dad out at the picnic table and he is a wonderful man |
your mileage may vary, parental guidance is advised, call before you dig, consult your doctor, action figures sold separately, see a qualified tax professional, mind the gap, may contain peanuts, no user serviceable parts inside, offer void in Nebraska, batteries not included |

The way the group embraced your parents was largely the result of what delightful people they are. Andrew, you're a lucky man to have parents like them. |

Andrew, we spoke a lot especially on your concerns. I am so pleased for you with the result and as said, this membership (albiet I am a newby in person) are kindered spirits with kind hearts. Your Mom's eyes of trepadation were evident but I watched several members reach out to them. Your Dad seemed to be able to make some closure and when the two of them started reminicing on good times there, well that is just fantastic.
Kerry, I watched June move over and sit with them Sunday, bravo!
