Hi gang,
I am the meet director this year. It's still not too late for those on the fence. You can register at the meet but please let me know if you are coming and how many are attending the banquet. The hotel needs a meal count by Wednesday. This would be a great family event (hint, hint). The track that we are going to on Thursday is not far the hotel and should be a lot of fun; for those who haven't done it before and even those who would ordinarily never consider it--come on out.

George

Track Time is this Thursday from aprox 11-2. The drag strip is an 1/8 mile long.
We will be running 3 ET brackets based on the cars that show up and the modifications they have.
It will be a dial in ET elimination.

What this all means....we will have a chance to take some trial runs to get a feel for the process, the tree, reaction time and your cars time.

From there we will place you in a bracket & you will then dial in a time. You will want to come as close to that dialed in time with out going quicker.
Closest to the dialed in time takes the round.

I am excited and looking forward to it...

Just got back from the Manassas Meet. Both my wife and I had a great time. Weather was hot but bearable as long as you kept water close by. The judging tent was a great idea and would love to see it used each year. The hotel accomodations were excellent as well as the food. Just want to thank the meet director George for a job well done. Also would like to thank Steve S. and Jim W. for all their contributions. The banquet and auction are always a great time. Stuart Z. and Doc S. always makes it a memorable experience coupled with a ton of laughs. Job WELL DONE guys!!!!

Does anyone know if they issued a new concours judging book? Terry T mentioned something about that to me earlier in the year. Those of us in the throes of restoration could really use the new info if it exists..

Please let us know

Send me your private email addresses and I will send you the slide show of pics that my wife took at the meet. Its easier and quicker for me to forward the slide show of pics that I have directly to your personal email address.

Mike,
I was there but unfortunately my baby VIN 1050, Bricklin Green, wasn't. My transmission went as I was leaving for the meet. Luckily I was not that far from my house ( about 1 min). I live in MD and was only 45 mins to an hour from the meet.

Just have to wait until next year.
