Nuts and Bolts Used on the 75 Bricklin

Notes:

 *   1. The "*" denotes changes since last published

 *   2. While the original bolts were steel, I suggest that Stainless
        steel bolts be used to replace the original bolts where ever 
        practical. However, when I was working on 887, I was using some
        stainless steel bolts to pull a piece together.  When I tried to
        back the nut off, I found that the nut and bolt had been stressed
        too much.  This lead to the nut and bolt locking and the bolt 
        breaking.  Do not use Stainless where there is any major
        stresses like the suspension, motor mounts, body bolts, etc. 
        (The biggest advantage to stainless is that it is not as prone
        to rust, and they look nicer too.)
