I want everyone to know that we added a speaker for Friday at the show. Paul Osborn was the General Vehicle Illustrator and worked with Herb at the Plymouth Rd Facility. Paul illustrated and help put together the Service, Parts and Owners manuals. He will speak in Frankenmuth at 3PM on Friday. I might also add that Paul has never spoken at a meet. He has a slide show presentation that he is creating from old slides and photos. NOBODY in the club has ever seen these pictures of General Vehicle!!! He told me that he has not looked at his stash in over 40 years. Should be a great event!!!

FRANKENMUTH MI 2012!!!!! I want to take the time to welcome everyone to this years Bricklin meet. I hope that you will be able to join us in beautiful Frankenmuth Michigan. This location was such a big hit with the club 16 years ago we decided to go back for another stay at this beautiful resort. Get on line and look at the hotel and the surrounding town. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! As always if you can donate something for the auction and or bring something for the raffle it would be appreciated! Wednesday 8PM Hospitality Suite; Frankenmuth Suite 290 Thursday Ed and Bev McManaway of Hastings, MI are organizing our driving event for Thursday. We plan to meet at 10:00 AM and drive Bronners which is the largest Christmas store in the World! We plan to browse until Noon. Then onto Zehnders for Lunch at 12:30. 2pm wine tasting and chocolate candy tour. If you are running late or driving in on Thursday you can always meet us along the way. Bronners and Zehnders are both less than 2 miles from the hotel.
8PM Hospitality Suite; Danube River Room At this point we are going to try to schedule Paul Osborn to join us in the sweet with his collection of Bricklin memoribila. I saw this collection and it is very cool!!!! Friday 10AM Poker Run; All I can say the Poker Run will be very cool!!! Christmas stores, Brewerys and ornate German craft stores! Should be fun and we end up at a super quaint lunch spot. Daniel Knoblock of Sterling Heights, MI and his dad will be running the Poker Rally. 3PM Paul Osborn; General Vehicle Illustrator We have never had Paul Osborn as a BI guest. Paul was an illustrator at Ford before being hired by at General Vehicle. Paul has never before seen photos of the Bricklin operation on Plymouth road circa 1974 and 1975. He will do an exclusive presentation to our group on Friday. If you want to know more about the history of the Bricklin this is a cant miss event! Paul put together and illustrated our Parts manual, Service manual and parts of the owners manual. Paul has some great photos and stories!!! 8PM Hospitality Suite; Danube River Room 9:30 PM Raffle Saturday 10AM car show begins and will be held on front lawn overlooking the lodge. 3:30 PM Directors Meeting in Danube River Room 5:30 PM Banquet Opens Cash Bar Mosel & Rhine Rooms 6:30 PM Buffet opens 7:30 Raffle 8:00 Trophy Presentation and Auction

Okay Got my Bricklin out but have to rejet the new carb!!! Needless to say out driving and getting ready for the Nationals!!!

If you are going to the meet or even think you are going to the meet make a reservation!! The hotel will jump to 169 per night from 116 if you miss our block!!! 48 hour cancelation so there won't be an issue to cancel at the last minute. BOOK NOW!!! I saw the list and know that many of you are coming but have not made reservations. We stll have 12 vacant rooms left per night so book before they are all gone.
Was wondering if there is partial membership for this. I just realised I will be having to work in Detroit area on 21 & 22 July and might be able to get up to this for Friday and possibly some of Thursday (I have other commitments in the People's Republic on Wednesday)
