This news is hot off the press!!!! Famed Bricklin designer Herb Grasse will be making a guest appearance at this years Grand Eastern meet in New York! He will be there on Saturday for the car show. If you have not had a chance to meet Herb, he was last at a Eastern Grand National meet in 1991 and his appearances are few and far between! He is a great guy with some great stories about Malcolm Bricklin. I have never met him personally and can't wait to finally meet him. I think I am going to talk him into signing my car! In addition, we will be auctioning off some rare original Herb Grasse SV1 artwork at our famed Bricklin auction following the banquet on Saturday night. Proceeds will benefit BI. If you have not been to a Bricklin meet, members can bring some items for donation to the daily raffle or can donate things to our auction. Auction items are normally in excess of $20.00 in value. All procedes help run our three time award winning magazine. See you all there, Hotel rooms are still available!

I got a copy of the September 1974 issue, there are indeed 2 pages on the Bricklin (p. 158 and 159 if my memory serves well), but I believe these pages are to be seen in many other magazines. I don't see anything specific to Playboy with these pages. BTW, I read somewhere Malcolm had 300 employees from Bricklin posing for this issue, but I didn't see anything like this either...

Playboy September 1974 = "Bricklin Issue" because it has an article about the Bricklin. Unfortunately she is not in that one (the only issue I own )

One more thing I forgot to add. Herb is coming with his wife Michelle Angelo who not only was a playmate; but graced playboy magazine 5 times. Plus lots of other magazine features, you can do a google search for her website. I am sure she would be happy to sign some autographs of her work! I talked to her at length yesterday, a very nice lady!
