Hi again....would anyone know if door skins are available. I am purchasing a 1975 Orange, with air doors. I will also need to reupholster ths seats, get carpet, and a diagram or schematic on air door operation. Also, can anyone identify the cahssis/driveline of these vehicles. Are they AMC Javelin"s, or FMX...if I am correct on these. Any input would help. I recently bought and restored a 1990 vette convertible. So, this is my next mission. Some edges on body look as though they "roll up", any info on this condition. Any help would be great.....Thanks Marc

As a former owner of a Safety Orange '75 back in the mid-80's, (that I traded off back then for a 1967 Shelby GT500, so cut me some slack!), I'm beginning to get a notion that maybe I should own a Bricklin again because I enjoyed having a car that was so *different*. If anyone knows of a good deal on a '74 4 speed car, I think I'd like to try one of those.

My father has a white and black bricklin. This is my favorite car out of all 100 cars my father has. I will never forget the first day I drove it.. I always love pulling up the the gas station and having everone look at you when they see the doors go up it just not a everyday thing. Well god bless the man or women that came up with the idea for this car.!! Nicole P.S. website hobbycarcorvettes.tripod.com check out some of our cars..

I'm The Owner Of A 1975 Bricklin I Live In DeKalb County IL It Was Poorly Stored By The Previous Owner. It Needs A Gas Tank Installed And I Do Have It. It Also Needs An Alternator And Some Tires (They Are Dry Rot) Also The Interior Is Very Dirty Other Than That The Car Is In Very Good Shape It Does Start. What Might It Be Worth?

I'm in the Nashville TN area. Owned my Bricklin about 8-10 yrs. I covered it in my shop about 3 yrs ago to restore a 1987 Vette conv. MISTAKE! I hope never to do one of those again. Does anyone know what seats are in this car? My runners are rusted out.

As an original owner of 1501, the car has given me a great deal of pleasure. Terry constantly keeps me up to date in my attempt to keep the car original ( except for air doors)

I fell in love with the Bricklin when I saw one in 1975 at a local mall. I am now in the position to purchase one but have run into one small problem. The ones I have looked at have cracks in the body panels. Can these cracks be repaired or does the entire panel need to be replaced? If they can be repaired how is it done? I just don't want to pay prime for something that will be extremely costly to repair. Thanks
