Years ago (maybe 15-20), there was a white Bricklin that was for sale in Baltimore. The car sat for a long time on Park Heights Avenue near Fallstaff Road. Everytime my dad and I drove by this car, we'd talk about it. At the time I was 17 and simply thought it was a "cute car".
To be honest I haven't thought about this until recently when my dad passed away summer 2007. We sat around talking about him and the things he loved. This was something that we remembered.
On a whim, I thought I'd see what I could find on the Bricklin's. Alas, this is why I'm here today. I'm simply wondering if anyone knows what ever happened to that car! Boy do I wish that I'd have bothered my dad to buy that car. If for nothing us, but a time for us to bond!
Anyway, thanks for any information that you may have!
Enjoy the Big Game on Sunday!!
** Webmaster ** Thanks for dropping by and sharing! Bricklins do tend to create those memories that last a lifetime.
I'm not sure we'll be able to help with that car - unless the owner happens across this post. Not all owners registered with the club and I'm not showing a record of a VIN in Baltimore on Park Heights Avenue.

G'day Bricklin enthusiast. I am one of the two gentlemen who mixed the resins to make your vehicles. It is a shame we were not able to continue....we went the way of the betamax.
happy wheelin'
** Webmaster ** As you say - it's a shame the car wasn't more successful. Perhaps too far ahead of it's time.

I just purchased # 1887. I don't know much about the history. It was origionally green. It was painted red by a previous owner. I was told it was owned by a movie studio at one time. It needs work to get roadworthy. I'm hoping to meet people in NYC area to get advice on where to get parts. Vito

After seeing the Bricklin rebuild on CCR, I just had to visit this website again. George, I hope you are doing well. I purchased # 2623 from George Malaska in fall of 1997 and drove it as a daily driver for over 4 years. It was a unique experience, to say the least, but I have alot of good stories about my Bricklin experience (like the time a cute blond made her husband/boyfriend park his Ferrari so she could see my Bricklin.) The kids at the car shows loved the gullwing doors and people always made gas stops fun. I suggest everyone experience Bricklins at least once. Just be ready for the experience of your life. The CCR Bricklin made me lust after one again. I now drive a 1996 Corvette that is in very good condition but NOBODY waves or even notices......In the Bricklin, everyone waves.

I've been trying to work out which car was used in this clip for months! Now I think I know!
http://www.gonein60seconds.com/Video/HeliEscape.wmv
** Webmaster ** Nice to see you found us!
Yes - Gone in 60 Seconds did feature a Bricklin - as did a movie by the same production company and using much of the same footage called "The Junkman".
You'll see Bricklins in other movies, too - including a XXX movie with Johnny Holmes.

Nice web site. It's good to see so many Bricklins on the road. It was way back in 1972 I started on the engineering design of the car while Herb was involved in the styling and clay modeling. We have lots of stories to tell about the personel and the car. It was a challenge and an experience from start to finish.
** Webmaster ** Thanks for stopping by, Tom! We'd love to have you join us in the Forum - I'm sure our members have many questions for you!!

I have always liked the Bricklen. I'm interested in a 1:18 scale diecast model of any year or color. I'm not having any luck in finding one. I don't own a Bricklin, but I try to see one at every car show I go to.
** Webmaster ** Thanks for stopping by.
To the best of my knowledge, no diecast models of the Bricklin were ever made. If you ever do find one, please stop by and let us know about it!!
You can get some hand-made ones from Tim Palmer. See http://www.modelbricklins.4t.com/index.html for details.

I just purchased my first Bricklin. It is VIN #836. It has 6861 original miles and still has the original tires on it. I'd like to speak to someone about keeping it original vs. modifications like the air doors.
** Webmaster ** Congratulations & thanks for stopping by! I believe you have a car that BI doesn't have in our database. I'll have our historian contact you.
Your posted information indicates that you are a car dealer, so you might want to call one of our Bricklin Vendors listed on http://www.bricklin.org/forum/links.asp?action=showsubcat&id=1 to discuss your options. You are certainly welcome to join the BI Forum and post your questions there, too!

hey hey hey ! owned one of these lovely ladies in 1975 \ 76 .... mine was a 1974, # 0276 safety green. loved it ! but it was the end of me. Hard to maitain at the time, expensive plus finding someone competent to work on it plus the 5 speeding tickets kinda made it expensive to maintain insurance.... --- would love to see one again in person and talk to anyone who may consider selling one.
** Webmaster ** Be sure to stop by the "Where are they now" page to see if any are close to you ( http://www.bricklin.org/BI_WhereAreTheyNow.htm ). It would be great for you to drop John T. Blair a line and provide him with any information on the VIN that you can. Contact information is located at http://www.bricklin.org/BI_Contacts.htm .

I have purchased the 1975 Orange Bricklin I found, Vin 000250...I was after. Does anyone have a hood....mine will need work, but If I could find one cheap enough, it could work. Also, can anyone help me with door operation. If the battery dies, what is the backup plan to enter the car? Does the air compressor have a pressure cut off....or does it work manualy??? What does the Vacuum pump do...besides pull vacuum...in relationship to the door operation?? New project...many questions.......can anyone help out???? Thanks....anybody

Hi all. I am a fairly new owner, who loves your site. My family owns a 1975 with under 10k miles. If we were interested in selling it, besides posting here, is there anywhere else you reccomend? Maybe EBAY? Please let me know.
Thanks, Rob
** Webmaster ** Our goal is to have the Bricklin International Owners Club site be the 'go to' spot for all things Bricklin. We hope that posting your classified with us would be a must when selling your car. Bricklin International Owners Club Members can list their car on this site and in our quarterly club magazine without cost (as part of our service to Members). See our Membership Information page for more details on joining.
BTW - We have seen plenty of Bricklins pop up on E-Bay. Thanks for stopping by.
